Here’s the truth . . .
Not all of the collages I’ve created for the 100 day project are something I like, or will ever show to ANYONE. Yesterday’s collage (number 51) is a case in point. That ugly duckling made me doubt whether I even knew how to collage – geeez . And no, I will not show it even to you!
Then today I made a collage that I’m absolutely in love with – what a relief!
That is how this project is going.
One day I’m filled with joy as I create and want to share my creation with the world. And the next day I struggle to create a “good” collage, and wonder whether I can make it to the 100 collage finish line. Although I can’t bare to share my ugly duckling collages, you can catch a glimpse of them as I quickly flip through my sketchbook on Instagram.
However, I’m happy to share those that I love – 4 of my faves are at the top of this post.
I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing a creative roller coaster as they move through their 100 day project. Please hit reply and share how this journey is going for you. What has been your biggest growth or realization of doing your project.
In case you are curious, here is a Instagram reel of me creating the one on the top row right – SO MUCH FUN . . .
