Discover the magic of simple black and white doodle designs to use as collage fodder.
In this video I play with doodling to create some fun designs in black and white. I focus on creating simpler designs that will add life to my collages, rather than intricate patterns that might overpower it.
Start by grabbing your favorite black and white pens and mark makers. One of my favorite parts of the process was using repositionable tape. By layering and overlapping the tape, I created intricate patterns that turned out beautifully once filled in with the markers. It was like a putting together a relaxing puzzle, with each piece coming together to form a stunning whole.
If you’re looking to expand your mixed media toolbox and add some unique elements to your collage work, I highly recommend giving these papers a try. You never know what amazing creations might emerge from your doodles!
