Day 16 – Who knew, I love to blog

Day 16+
When I started my 30 day commitment to seriously integrate my day gig and art life 16 days ago, I had no idea that I would actually love to blog. How could I possibly come up with anything to blog about? Would I dread doing this each day, or week? Would anyone want to read what I wrote?

Still don’t know if anyone is reading what I write each day :), but to my amazement, the topics are coming easily.

And my love of writing is emerging day by day, which I’m realizing is also art. I wake up in the middle of the night inspired with a topic fully formed, and excited for 5am to arrive so that I can write it down here. This is what happened last night, again.

By the way, I’m actually not new to blogging – its one of my responsibilities for my sweet day gig. However, its always been a chore, something to check off my list. Which is why I’m surprised that I actually love to blog outside of my day job. I had no idea that blogging on a topic that profoundly spoke to my soul would make blogging an absolute pleasure, even at 5 0’clock in the morning!

One more thing to be grateful for – its warm in Iowa…

…and the snow from their first storm of the season is quickly melting!  I feel blessed to be here in 50 degree weather, rather than in zero degrees and snowbound.  Thank you Universe!!!
